In vehicle access control, automation and digitalization are becoming key elements to ensure security, efficiency and ease of management. In this context, iZERO 2 by SELEA stands out as an ANPR column designed for automatic license plate recognition and advanced vehicle flow management.
Designed for applications such as companies, parking areas, hotels, residential complexes and shared spaces, iZERO 2 represents a complete solution for access control in low-speed environments, where precision and reliability are essential. Thanks to advanced OCR technology, the system can read license plates even in critical conditions, such as dirt or deterioration, ensuring high performance both day and night.
One of its distinguishing features is its high accuracy, reaching 99.9% up to a speed of 20 km/h, ensuring reliable access management even in complex environments. The reading range covers lanes up to 4 meters wide, with an operating distance between 1.5 and 6 meters, offering great flexibility during installation.
However, the real added value of the solution we offer lies in its integration with LEADER access control systems. The distributed version is optimized to work natively with the entire LEADER range, transforming the vehicle’s license plate into a true digital badge. In this way, each vehicle is associated with a user and automatically inherits all access rights, such as authorized days, time schedules, anti-passback logic and other advanced rules.
This approach allows vehicle access to be managed with the same logic and simplicity as pedestrian access, centralizing everything within a single platform. The management interface used is that of the LEADER systems, while the native iZERO interface is only partially used, if necessary, during installation or initial configuration.
Performance remains high even in harsh environmental conditions thanks to the high-performance IR illuminator with Fog-Fighter technology, which ensures plate recognition even in dense fog or low visibility.
From a technological standpoint, the column integrates a camera with a 2.3 Mpx Global Shutter OCR sensor, optimized for accurate plate reading, and supports multiple communication interfaces such as RS232/485, OSDP and Wiegand, facilitating integration with existing systems.
Another key feature is the integrated web server, which enables complete and advanced system management. It is possible to record images and metadata on local servers or remote NAS, dynamically manage access lists, configure customized alarms and receive real-time notifications with images associated with detected plates. The system also supports integration with external context cameras, expanding monitoring capabilities.
Great attention has also been paid to data security and regulatory compliance. iZERO 2 is designed according to privacy by design and privacy by default principles, and is compliant with NDAA cybersecurity standards, ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance.
Thanks to the possibility of power supply via 12 Vdc or PoE, and a design optimized for easy installation and alignment, the column can be seamlessly integrated into any application context.
iZERO 2 is therefore not just a license plate reading column, but an intelligent system capable of automating access points, optimizing traffic flows and improving the end-user experience, while minimizing operational complexity.
