Another function of the new BeMOVE app is the option of setting access restrictions or authorisations for specific users, on specific days and at specific times. The “time slot” function can be enabled by the Supermaster user only if the HOOP gateway has been set on SECURITY MODE. Unlike the “planned events” function, access by time slots is specific for each user and applies to a precise period of time.
Managing accesses by time slots allows you to authorise access for a user in a different way, or repeatedly, for each day of the week. The correct function of the system in this mode requires an Internet connection because the data necessary for programming is stored on a cloud server, which must be able to communicate with the gateway.
What are the possible benefits of this function? In both residential and corporate contexts, this access mode is particularly useful if there is a need to manage the accesses of personnel on certain days and at certain times. An example could be providing access to employees of a company, who must each be individually enabled, for security reasons, to enter only certain areas and only at certain times during the day. Through this function, the BeMOVE system can be used as an authentic access control system.
