2 years of ARC coding: How systems have changed and what the Benincà range offers now in terms of safety

Our dialogue with professional users has enabled us to develop high-tech products that guarantee security, reliability and above all professional performances. To this end, two years ago we launched a new type of coding on the market: Advanced Rolling Code (ARC). The aim was to guarantee maximum anti-cloning security in systems through the length of the transmitted code (128-bit, rather than 64-bit) and, as a result, the high number of possible combinations (3.4x1038).

Since the launch of the first ARC products, the new code has been adopted throughout our network of distributors and, thanks to the precious training and information work carried out, has been correctly implemented with the major advantages it offers highly appreciated. The work of our R&D team has therefore focused on the following step: completing the adaptation work and the alignment of the new code in the various systems, and beginning to launch the first “ARC Only” products on the market.

Today all Benincà control units and receivers come with triple coding, Advanced Rolling Code, Rolling Code and Fixed Code. In addition to this a series of new ‘ARC Only’ products has been designed. The recently released products, BULL1524, a 24 V DC sliding motor for gates of up to 1500 kg, the new BULL TURBO range and the new intensive use model BULL20 HE, for gates of up to 2000 kg, are three examples of next-generation ARC-only Benincà motors.

A firm commitment, fully in keeping with the company and the group’s reputation as the “choice of specialists”. To consolidate this approach and provide professionals with greater assistance, in the last year the company has also strengthened its technical information media and systems. A few recent examples are the new BeUP app, which can also be used to download manuals and do online training, and the enhancement of our Youtube channel. All of this enables our automation specialists to acquire a complete understanding of the new codes of the transmitter range and to receive useful information on the configuration of plants and systems.

Choose to do the best work you possibly can.
