Benincà at Intertraffic Amsterdam: innovation and integration for access control

Last week we participated in Intertraffic Amsterdam, one of the most important international events dedicated to mobility, infrastructure and road safety. The exhibition has always been a benchmark for professionals and companies in the sector, offering the opportunity to explore new technologies and the challenges related to access management and urban spaces. For Benincà, it was a valuable opportunity to meet partners and customers from all over the world and present some of the most innovative solutions developed in recent years.

A stand dedicated to the integration of automation and access control

At our stand we wanted to convey a very clear concept: we are not specialists in parking systems, but we have been specialists in automation for over 40 years. Thanks to this experience and the synergies created with the companies of the group, today we are able to offer increasingly integrated solutions between automation, access control and IoT systems. To make this vision concrete, we created a Demo Zone simulating a real access management system.

The Demo Zone: simulation of a parking area with smart access

The demo area reproduced the entrance and exit of a small parking area through two DIVA.3 road barriers. Visitors could see different access modes in operation: automatic license plate recognition through a SELEA camera access via badge or QR code thanks to EXPERIENCE readers These devices were integrated into the new modular DOMUS column, designed to house different authentication systems and accessory devices.

LEADER MINI and integration with the IoT world

The core of the system was the LEADER MINI controller, an all-in-one solution for managing entrances and exits. The system allows authorizations and access levels to be managed in a simple and flexible way, adapting to different application contexts. Thanks to the Q.BE board and the MQTT communication protocol, we also demonstrated how automation systems can communicate with IoT platforms and supervision systems, enabling real-time data transmission between connected devices. This integration opens the way to new possibilities for intelligent access management in many contexts, such as campsites, hotels, construction sites, parking facilities and shopping centres.

    Security and traffic management

Another area of the stand was dedicated to protection and traffic management, with RISE bollards integrated with the access control system. In this case too, activation took place via badge readers, demonstrating how automation systems can easily be integrated into more complex systems. Completing the demonstration, a synoptic panel made it possible to visualize in real time the status of the various automation systems displayed at the stand, giving visitors an immediate and complete overview of the operation of the entire system. An opportunity to engage with the international market Our participation in Intertraffic was an important opportunity to engage with the international market and with the new needs related to mobility and access security.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand: it was a real pleasure to meet you and share with you our vision for an increasingly connected and intelligent future.
